About Climb

Bringing some indoor fun into climbing why not try our Climb challenges which are all different shapes and sizes. The auto belay system means you can climb without experience or assistance making it perfect for beginners and experienced adventurers!

For a party with a difference try our Climb clip n’ climb. You’ll get exclusive use of all the different climbing challenges for 45 minutes followed by 45 minutes in a party room. Bookings are being taken now for September onwards and food is provided by the on-site thrive kitchen. Minimum 10 party goers with a maximum party group of 16. Age and height restrictions will apply so ask for details when you enquire.

Scale the heights!

In Climb you have one goal – to get to the top! There’s eight stations and each one has different challenges and routes to the top. Why not take on The Maze, Sport or Lightening before tackling the Face 2 Face where you can compete with friends and family to see who can get to the top first.

All climbing walls have auto belay systems which means you can climb without experience or assistance making it perfect for beginners and experienced adventures.

Climb is designed for ages over 4 and weight restrictions apply.

Opening hours

Sessions are one hour long and include a 10-minute safety briefing and 5-minute de-briefing.

Term time

  • Thursday – 4.30am to 8.30pm
  • Friday – 4.30pm to 8.30pm
  • Saturday – 9.30am to 4.30pm
  • Sunday – 9.30am to 4.30pm

Durham School holidays

  • Monday – 9.30am to 4.30pm
  • Tuesday – 9.30am to 4.30pm
  • Wednesday – 9.30am to 4.30pm
  • Thursday – 9.30am to 4.30pm
  • Friday – 9.30am to 4.30pm
  • Saturday – 9.30am to 4.30pm

    Session information

    Important information before you book:

    • only book for the number of adults/ children who will be taking part in the session
    • please arrive 15 minutes before your session
    • climbers must be aged over 4
    • climbers will only be allowed to participate following a safety briefing
    • a 5 minute debriefing is required at the end of the session for harnesses to be removed
    • closed toe shoes must be worn – no sandals, flip flops or crocs
    • no belt buckles are to be worn
    • no loose items (including keys) can be left in pockets
    • remove all jewellery
    • long hair must be tied back
    • weight restrictions apply.
