About Parties

Whatever the occasion we have a wide range of party packages to choose from for your special event.

Book a soft play party in one of our Play Zones which are ideal for youngsters who want to tumble, side and climb their way through our three-floor fun play areas. For those who like more of a challenge try a party in our gamified TAG Active Arena or an exclusive hire of our Climb clip n’ climbing walls.

Abbey Adventure offers three different zones of fun and if you if you fancy a splash about in the water, then why not hire the small pool exclusively and enjoy a swimming pool party.

Soft play parties

Our soft play parties are perfect for little ones looking for a big dose of fun! Your child will love playing on our soft play sides and ladders before continuing in our special party room.

Soft play parties are available at Abbey and Peterlee Leisure Centres and bookings are available from September 2024 onwards at the Louisa Centre. Parties include an hour in the soft play, food from our in-site thrive kitchens and 45 minutes in a party room. Minimum 10 children.

Soft play parties (without food) are also available in some of our our smaller centres.

Abbey Adventure parties

Whether it’s bouncing, sliding, or climbing, a party at Abbey Adventure means having some serious fun. Free play in the zones – TAG, Jump and Play – will be like having three different party experiences! You’ll then move into our special party room.

Parties include time in Abbey Adventure, food and use of a party room.

Available at Abbey Leisure Centre.

Pool parties

  • Family fun swim party: A family fun swim party includes floats, toys and games for children and adults to enjoy together. Our pool parties are looked after by a fully- qualified lifeguards. For your safety, every child must be accompanied by an adult. Available at Chester-le-Street, Consett, Freeman’s Quay, Newton Aycliffe, Peterlee, Teesdale, Woodhouse Close.
  • Pool inflatable party: The only way to make water more fun is with our large pool inflatables. For children over five, and competent swimmers, have you got what it takes to stay the course over the inflatable! For your safety, every child must be accompanied by an adult. Available at Chester-le-Street, Freeman’s Quay, Newton Aycliffe, Peterlee, Teesdale, Woodhouse Close.
  • Fun and slide party: Join us for a fun filled party packed with rafts, floats and games. Plus, you can enjoy exclusive use of the slide and splash pad for added entertainment. Available at Consett.
  • Waves and slide party: Fancy having the exclusive use of our wave and slide pool for a party? With floats and toys and the ability to ride the waves what more could you want from a water party! Available at Spennymoor.

Ten pin bowling parties

Whether they’re in it to win it or part of the team, the kids will enjoy one hour of non-stop fun with their friends and family in an epic bowling party. An hour of bowling will certainly work up an appetite, just in time for great party food and drinks.

Ten pin bowling is available at Peterlee Leisure Centre.

Other party options

We have many other options available for a special occasion including football and cricket parties and bouncy castle parties.
