Swimming pools
Across County Durham we have ten main pools, plus training and learner pools. This includes a leisure pool with waves and a slide at Spennymoor Leisure Centre. Each has a varied timetable offering lots of different activities including lane swimming, water based fitness classes, fun activities for families and swimming lessons.
During the school holidays we also offer free swimming at our sites for young people aged 18 years and under which includes fun sessions, general swimming and inflatable sessions in both the main and small pools. Wave, slide and splash sessions are also available at Spennymoor Leisure Centre.
