Exercise classes are a fun way to get active, with the benefits of an instructor to guide you through the routine with helpful hints and tips along the way. We offer a range of classes suitable for all levels of fitness and abilities.
The fitness studios at Abbey Leisure Centre have recently been refurbished and now include a multi-use and virtual fitness studio.
The virtual studio features over 100 exercise classes each week. Bookable as normal through the timetable, everything from spinning to Pilates and Yoga will be on offer. Instead of a coach in the room, the class will be hosted by a virtual coach projected on screen. The format’s just the same though, as the virtual coach will lead you through all the moves and motivate you to keep going throughout the whole workout.
The multi-use studio is home to a whole host of other classes from dance to Tai Chi, there’s something for everyone.
