Centre Pools – Maintenance Update

Both pools at Consett Leisure Centre are currently closed for essential maintenance.

Due to some contractor resource issues, there have been minor delays to the works. We are working closely with the contractor to resolve these issues and now anticipate reopening the pools mid to late December.

In the meantime, residents can use any of our other Thrive pools.

Swimming lesson customers will be contacted directly with updates. 

Consett Leisure Centre boasts a state of the art gym, studios and two swimming pools. Plus sports galore with an indoor sports hall and outdoor pitches, multi-use games areas and three squash courts.
