Newton Aycliffe Library and Leisure Centre boasts a state of the art gym, studios, two swimming pools, sports hall and library.

The gym offers memberships which include swimming and classes. If you just love classes there’s a dedicated spinning and class studio. There’s a brand-new sauna and steam room facility and the two swimming pools offer general swimming, family fun sessions, swimming lessons, Aqua Fit, Aqua Natal, Aqua Spin and are home to an amateur swimming club and the county’s only dedicated Waterpolo club.
The centre also offers casual sports and activities in the sports hall, event spaces and rooms for hire and a range of children’s parties including pool parties.

Spend some quiet time or indulge in some reading in Newton Aycliffe’s library. Packed with books for all ages from babies through to adults the library offers a relaxing, warm space to enjoy some me time. Why not pop in and use some of the public computers or the photocopying and printing services which are also available.
