Customer Notice – Monday 20th April

Both our Soft Play and Bowling areas will be closed for the first part of the day on Monday 20th April to allow for our annual ventilation service.

We will reopen from 5:00pm

Soft Play will remain open from 5:00pm – 7:00pm
(We have added an extra hour on this day so Soft Play does not close at 6:00pm as usual)

The Café will remain open serving food and hot drinks throughout the evening.

We appreciate your patience while we carry out this essential maintenance to keep our facilities safe and comfortable for everyone.

Peterlee Leisure Centre boasts a state of the art gym with the latest Technogym equipment including cardio, strength and functional kit and a SKILLX area for functional group sessions and anytime use. There are three studios including a virtual studio which features a purpose-built group cycling experience.

The centre has a sports hall, two swimming pools and a sauna. The pools offer aqua classes, swimming lessons as well as lane swimming, family fun sessions and general swimming.

Strike an eight lane ten-pin bowling alley where four lanes have Spark technology with immersive graphics is next to the Play Zone a large three level soft play area for youngsters. Round up a visit with a coffee, cake or meal in the centre’s thrive kitchen which is open for all customers to use.

Peterlee Leisure Centre also has a library available.
