These booking terms and conditions form part of all thrive and Move Hub membership terms and conditions. Before making a booking, it is important that you check that the terms do not include anything you are not willing to agree to.
Occasionally, we may be required to amend these terms and conditions and we hereby reserve the right to do so.
Booking a fitness class
- All bookings must be made through our app or online booking system. If you are unable to make a booking through the app or online, you are able to contract the relevant leisure centre.
- Bookings can be made eight days in advance from the time of each class. All members are required to book classes.
- It is free to make a booking. However, in the event that you wish to cancel a booking, we require 12 hours notice. If you fail to give the correct notice, we reserve the right to restrict future entry and remove your booking rights for a period of time.
- Bookings can be made for the account/membership holder only. Up to a maximum of 10 bookings can be placed in an online basket at any one time.
- If you have a casual thrive active membership you can book up to six days in advance and your booking will be at a discount. However, you are still required to give us a minimum of 12 hours notice should you wish to cancel a session.
- You are advised to arrive at your session at least five minutes prior to your booking slot. Late arrivals may result in your booking being void.
- Where available, members must use the self check-ins for all bookings.
Move Hub bookings
- Move Hub bookings can be made eight days in advance.
- All bookings must be made through our app or online booking system. If you are unable to make a booking through the app or online, you are able to contract the relevant leisure centre.
- Each Move Hub session will last approximately one hour.
- If you are late in arriving, your booking may be void.
- You are advised to arrive at your session at least five minutes prior to your booking slot.
- It is free to make a booking. However, in the event that you wish to cancel a booking, we require 12 hours notice. If you fail to give the correct notice, we reserve the right to restrict future entry and remove your booking rights for a period of time.
Booking a private swimming lesson
- Not all of our leisure centres are able to offer private swimming lessons. Therefore, should you wish to book a private lesson, you must contact your local centre.
- If you purchase a private swimming lesson and are unable to attend, you must give us 48 hours notice. Where possible, we will attempt to reschedule the lesson to a more suitable time.
- If you do not attend a private swimming lesson or provide less than 48 hours notice, we will not reschedule the lesson and we will be unable to offer a refund.
- Due to unforeseen circumstances, we may have to sometimes cancel private swimming lessons. Where this occurs, the lesson will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Booking a gym session
- You will not usually be required to book a session at the gym. However, we reserve the right to introduce a booking system during busy periods.
