Free Swimming
- Free swimming is available to County Durham residents aged 18 and under.
- The offer runs from Saturday 21st February – Sunday 1st March.

- Included Sessions:
- General swim
- Fun sessions
- Inflatable sessions
- Seaside-type sessions (Spennymoor only)

- The following sessions must be booked online:
- Seaside Wave and Slide
- Seaside Splashability
- Swim sessions available to book online 8 days in advance of session
- Booking Requirements all other sites and general swim sessions at Spennymoor Leisure Centre

- General swim sessions, including those at Spennymoor, are available on a first come, first served basis.
- All other sessions at participating sites also first come, first served
- Thrive Card:
- All customers aged 18 and under must have a Thrive Card to access free swimming.
- Important Notes:
- Normal pool admission and supervision policies apply.
- Only one free session per person per day.
- No cash alternative is available.
- Not valid on Bank Holidays.
- Offer excludes Aqua Fit and Adult Swim sessions.
- Offer excludes Splashtot sessions
Soft play
- Available at Abbey, Peterlee, Spennymoor, Teesdale, Chester-le-Street Leisure Centres and The Louisa Centre.
- Available from Monday 23rd February – Friday 27th February 2026.
- Must be booked on-line to guarantee your space.
- All soft play sessions included – does not include bands and socks.
- All soft play sessions free – no cash equivalent available
- All booking customers must have / sign up for a free thrive card membership.
- Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
- Booking limited to 4 participants per person per day.
- Bookings are subject to availability.
- Bookings can be made 8 days in advance.
- Offer not available for party bookings.

TAG Active
- Available at The Louisa Centre only.
